Glossary Workload-centric Monitoring

Workload-centric refers to an IT monitoring approach which focuses on the health status and consumption of resources of a given system or service from the dynamic perspective of the workflows that are supported by it. Multiple workflows running on multiple IT systems, such as operating systems, databases, and applications can be followed in real time. This type of monitoring returns metrics that provide insights into the resource requirements. For example, the CPU, memory, storage or bandwidth which is needed for the optimal running of specific business processes.
