New Monitoring Connectors – December 2024

Blog New Monitoring Connectors – December 2024

Every month, Centreon extends its monitoring connector catalog and implements new connectors, allowing you to connect your IT monitoring with always more ITOps tools.

The result: increased visibility and business observability capabilities. We also offer enhancements and fixes on existing connectors.

This December 2024, we’re introducing three new monitoring connectors and a few fixes on existing ones.

You can also read the related documentation, contact our sales team, or post a message on The Watch to learn more.

Reminder:  Plugin Packs have been renamed. We are now referring to them as Monitoring Connectors.

Three new monitoring connectors were added to the catalog this month

JMeter

The JMeter monitoring connector enables the monitoring of the open-source Apache JMeter application, which tests the performance and load of digital applications and services. Use it to monitor the execution of scripts designed to test situations such as traffic surges during promotional events.

Skyhigh Web Gateway SNMP

The Skyhigh Web Gateway SNMP monitoring connector monitors this web access management network security solution via SNMP. It replaces the McAfee Gateway SNMP monitoring connector following the end-of-life announcement for McAfee Web Gateway OIDs by Skyhigh

This monitoring connector retains its predecessor’s models, including monitoring clients (number of connected clients, number of open network sockets), connections, malware detections, request statistics (HTTP, HTTPS, and FTP), and signature database versions.

AppearTV SNMP

Aligning with the Operational Technologies-OT monitoring approach, the AppearTV SNMP monitoring connector monitors alarms reported via SNMP on AppearTV equipment.
