Centreon Labs is an initiative designed to foster collaboration among communities to explore, develop, and test innovative projects. This marks a significant step in Centreon’s commitment to open-source development, transparency, and collaborative innovation.
An initiative for community innovation
The Centreon Labs initiative is designed to accelerate innovation and foster development by engaging the Centreon community. Responding to the growing number of innovative ideas emerging from its R&D teams and user community, Centreon has created this initiative with the objective of exploring, developing, and testing ideas before integrating them into its product roadmap. The Centreon Labs initiative provides a collaborative environment for technical users to test and contribute to future product developments.
Game-changing Projects on The Watch Community Portal
Centreon Labs already includes several innovative projects, including :
- POP (Plugin Output Processing): This project converts plugin output messages into clear, natural language explanations using GenAI technology. Aimed at boosting IT team productivity, it facilitates Level 1 support in handling alerts and acknowledging actions, regardless of the language used.
- Predictive Capacity : An AIOps feature, Predictive Capacity aims to enhance the proactive capabilities of ITOps teams by alerting them before a service reaches its saturation point. Utilizing advanced machine learning, this feature enables strategic planning and timely intervention, resulting in cost savings and improved operational efficiency. Users can test and validate this AIOps-oriented feature in their local environments and provide feedback based on real-world production conditions.
