Paris, March 12, 2024 – Centreon, the leading partner in digital performance monitoring presents its results for 2023 and its strategic outlook for 2024. Increasing competitive replacement
In 2023, there was a trend towards replacing competing solutions. More than 50% of new customers in 2023 were using one or more competing solutions and chose Centreon for its superior feature set, ability to monitor IT and OT environments, and TCO (total cost of ownership).
IT and OT convergence
IT and OT convergence is an essential step in modern technology evolution, merging traditional IT systems with operational technologies to create more efficient business processes and competitive enterprises. This is particularly true in Industry 4.0, as well as in the energy sector and in preparing for our urban future, where smart cities, buildings, and transportation are now a reality. These projects require integrated and aligned monitoring between traditional IT systems (such as networks, software, and data) and the technologies used in physical operations (such as production and industrial equipment). In 2023, many customers chose the Centreon platform for its unique capabilities in unified IT and OT monitoring, ensuring the performance and availability of numerous remote and interconnected sites and equipment while reducing maintenance costs.

Julien Mathis, CEO, and co-founder of Centreon concludes, “I am very pleased with our 2023 results. Despite a year marked by inflation and economic uncertainty, we achieved significant revenue growth. We are also proud to have completed our pivot to a recurring revenue model, just four years after our first subscription software sales, which now represent 82% of our total revenue. With the global availability of our SaaS offering, IT and OT convergence projects, and our management team fully in place, I am confident about our future prospects.”
